BODY AND FICTION – DANCE WEAR

We were invited by choreographer and dancer Maria Zimpel to collaborate on the development process of her work “Body and Fiction”. The dance wear was designed to perfectly fit the choreography and the custom-made performance space. An open back suit highlights and exposes certain movements, whilst the double layered fabric design allows the suit to create an illusion of movement. As one of the viewers described „the dance wear is so natural for this movement that it actually fuses with the dancer’s body into one.” We have also designed the performance space for this project.
